Dental clinic serves children with cleft lips, palates

The new Advanced Needs Dental Clinic at UNLV’s School of Dental Medicine opened last month. After $1.3m federal grant money and a bill - Senate Bill 280 - passed in the Nevada Legislature this year, resources were put in place to help families with children born with cleft palates and other craniofacial abnormalities to access care locally.
