Patients want answers as dentist files for bankruptcy

WREG reports on how dental patients in Shelby County, Tenn. are demanding answers after paying for dental services they did not get. The internet has many reviews of people demanding their money back from Contagious Smiles, which has since failed for bankruptcy. WREG went on the trail of practice owner Dr. Larry Anthony, who eventually released a statement which said: “We are committed to resolving this situation as fairly and ethically as possible for all parties involved. We are currently working with legal counsel to explore all options for compensating our patients for outstanding balances. This may include exploring avenues for patient compensation within the bankruptcy filing.”
